Runway Review: Louis Vuitton Spring 2013

Marc Jacobs once again showed a lovely collection at Paris Fashion Week. The collection, unlike some of the previous ones, was not overworked nor gaudy (I am referring to the coats from the last collection, specifically). Instead, this collection was more subdued but visually interesting with its bold checker-boaard print and acid-like colors.

Jacobs had all of the models come down and up the runways via four escalators, which had that acid green checker-board print on them to match the runway. While the escalator was unnecessary, it was still interesting (and less distracting than the huge wind farm fans that dominated the Chanel runway).

Overall, I really liked this collection and really want the looks that I posted below.

What do you think of the collection? And what do you think of Louis Vuitton in general?
