Perhaps this trend should be saved for the truly brave and fearless fashionistas of the world– wearing multiple prints at one time. This trend was seen on the Spring/Summer runways of Jill Sander, Kate Spade, J Crew, and Prada, and it was worn in multiple variations. Some collections had it via a shirt and skirt, a dress, a romper, and (most commonly) a pair of pants and a button-up shirt. While it can be daunting to attempt to wear multiple prints at one time (afterall, we want to look chic, not like a clown) there is one simple rule to follow in order to pull this trend off. The rule? Wear prints that have similar color schemes. Do not wear prints with contrasting colors (i.e. purple and red) or prints that are vastly different (i.e. polka dots and horizontal stripes). Now, if you want to approach this trend more cautiously, then wear it with neutral accessories and accents (see photo). So, what do you think of this trend? Do you think it is incredibly chic or just ridiculous?
